A car wash to save lives

We’re asking you and your friends to organize one simple car wash at your school, church or in your neighborhood. It’s easy! It’s fun! It will quickly raise money to save the lives of these children dying of malaria. For only $5, you can provide medicine to treat malaria. For another $5, you can buy a mosquito net to prevent malaria.

In honor of World Malaria Day, Monday, April 25th, we want to raise funds and awareness about this deadly disease. Kids Fight Malaria is organizing this car wash to fight malaria. Join our effort! You CAN make a difference!

All the materials you need are on this page. The materials provided are in Word and Powerpoint. Save them on your computer and fill in your information (time of car wash, location, etc). These will then be ready for you to print and distribute.

First, read the Step-by-Step Guide to Organizing Wash Away Malaria. Then start organizing your team, select and confirm a location, and choose a time for your car wash on April 23rd—or any weekend in the next few months. (Be sure to fill in the needed information before printing the materials.)

Now your team should be ready to go out and ask for donations and organize for the car wash. There is a Powerpoint Slide Show you can use for any presentations to classrooms, clubs, or organizations.
